  • SiSTEM Tutors are either college graduates, certified teachers, or retired teachers with a minimum of 2 years tutoring or teaching in a school setting.

  • We have recognized that students at the middle school level gain the most impact in Math and ELAR tutoring; however, all grade levels can succeed by regularly attending tutoring sessions.

  • SiSTEM Tutors have been trained to do pull-outs and push-ins; however the selection is based on the structure of the classroom environment. Push-ins are not beneficial when the classroom is over 25 students.

  • SiSTEM Tutoring sends weekly invoices on Fridays at 4:00pm CST for any tutoring that took place Monday-Friday that week. Invoices can be paid by credit card, check or ACH deposit. We prefer that invoices are paid via ACH deposit.

  • SiSTEM Tutoring groups students based on their assessment data and we focus on Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Intervention.

  • We offer our campus immersion services to students in Kindergarten all the way to Graduate Level coursework.

  • As of January 2023, we are only providing in-person campus immersion services to schools and districts based in Texas. Any of our virtual campus immersion services can be administered nationwide.

  • We have found a minimum of 2 days a week, one hour each time per student has been most impactful.

  • Our sessions are administered by the hour, however tutoring can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours at the discretion of the campus.

  • SiSTEM offers on-demand tutoring in an online environment only.

  • Parent involvement in the tutoring program is crucial to student success. We host monthly webinars that parents can join; we send out testimonials and student progress reports for schools to share with parents; and we send out marketing materials such as online flyers to share with parents as well.

  • We provide tutors with opportunities to showcase their skills and expertise here at SiSTEM. We do not micromanage our tutors and encourage them to get creative with their lessons for students. We also offer weekly professional development workshops for tutors to continue learning and implementing effective tutoring strategies with their students.
